New Generation Cooperative Start-up Guide and Kit Community Futures Triple R |
The intention of Triple R’s New Generation Cooperative Start-up Guide and Kit is to provide an overview of what a New Generation Co-operative is and in what circumstances is it an appropriate business model.
Triple R also wanted to encourage the use of New Generation Cooperatives for community improvement projects that quite often struggle to raise the required capital.
Interest in the development of New Generation Cooperatives has grown since the Manitoba passed legislation recently that make their development easier as well as devoting resources to assist individuals and organizations to pursue this business model.

Western Diversification funded the project in part through its Community Economic Development Opportunities Fund with Triple R and the Province of Manitoba supporting the project as well.
The outcome of the project are two documents available for download which provide information on a variety of topics including the key features of an NGC, the factors that make it successful, and the components of a useful business overview and feasibility study.
